CPATA is developing resources to support supervised practice. Based on the results of a survey of trainees and supervisors administered last fall, CPATA assembled a working group of 16 agents to create a template Training Plan, Progress Check and Final Evaluation to frame the supervised practice training program. We are now seeking two Class 1 or 2 patent agents and two Class 1 or 2 trademark agents fluent in both French and English to review the translations for accuracy and equivalency between late August and early September.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Experience
Must have full professional proficiency in both French and English
Member tasks
- Review the translations of the supervised practice resources (Training Plan, Progress Check and Final Evaluation) to ensure accuracy and equivalency between the English and French versions.
Time Commitment
- Approximately 4-6 hours of asynchronous document translation review
Mandate Start Date and Duration
- Early August to mid-September 2026
Compensation
- Honorarium of $500
