CPATA seeks new Chief Executive Officer and Registrar

CPATA’s start-up Chief Executive Officer and Registrar (CEO) Darrel Pink will end his time with the College in December 2022. Over the past few years, Darrel, drawing from his extensive experience in regulation leadership, oversaw the coming-into-force and establishment of a new, modern and risk-based federal regulator in the intellectual property space. CPATA is now seeking a long-term CEO and Registrar to continue maturing and leading the College through a new phase of its existence.

Reporting to the Board, the CEO is responsible for the management and coordination of CPATA’s operations, administration, finances, resources, relationships, and core activities. The ideal candidate for this position has leadership experience in public interest professional regulation, success engaging and partnering with government and knowledge of or experience in Canada’s innovation sector. The ability to communicate effectively in English and French is a strongly desired asset. CPATA welcomes candidates located anywhere in Canada, as the College operates virtually.  To apply or to share this information with a potential candidate or your network, please click below.
