CPATA held its Annual General Meeting and fifth anniversary celebration on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the Lord Elgin Hotel in Ottawa and online. CPATA highlighted how it has strengthened the professional regulation of patent agents and trademark agents in Canada, supported Canadian innovation since inception through initiatives related to professional competency, entry-to-practice, professional conduct, combatted fraud, unauthorized practice and more. CPATA presented its 2025 audited financial statements and Annual Report and provided updates on its Strategic Framework and upcoming initiatives.
