data-contrast=\"auto\"> skills (such as communication) that must complement an agents\u2019 technical knowledge for competent practice. This Professional Foundations Profile will apply to both patent agents and trademark agents and will be a companion document to the Technical Competency Profiles. Again employing a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/cpata-cabamc.ca\/en\/professional-foundations-competency\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">rigorous process<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> including working groups of licensees, a draft profile was developed and a consultation was conducted with stakeholder groups and licensees. <span class=\"TrackChangeTextInsertion TrackedChange
